Remember a few years back, say 8 years, when the mesh front slippers where in? well guess what, they have revived from the dead and is making a comeback! they're now available as sneakers! yes, the variety of colour is still as broad as the slippers. really, i don't know what else to say. so please, just click on the next post!

this is an oldie but a goody! here's a little tib-bit for y'alls. this was the first picture i took to start this "questionable fashion" crazyness. so basically, this shirt has stars sewn onto it. not just any type of stars, they're black sequined ones. now don't get me wrong, i love sequins and all things shiny but this one was definitely off the wall! i wish this picture was of better quality so you can see the stars. which i also wanted to add was that the stars aren't sewn on flat, the points of each star a left pointing around!! this just looks like a hot mess.

I haven't updated in almost 6mths! i'm terribly sorry! it's because i haven't been out much and was also a little discouraged to blog. don't ask, because i don't even know why! i promise i'll try to keep up with this blog, and if anything i'll take pix of things i know, yes i said it, i own questionable things as well!

I'll add a clearer picture later, but this was taken the other day when i was out with a friend. this lady was decked out in cats. i wish you can see teh stocking too b/c they're white with polkadots and the umbrella has frills... if she was on her way to an anime convention, then fine, but we're going into a MALL.

weird shiny pants

there pants are a good length for the spring/summer season and a decent fit. but this printed "leather" look is another story. they're so shiny that it caught my attention when i walked by the store that i just HAD to go in to look at these. i know shine is in, but this is not. if you own these and can make them look really good, let me know! i just cant see anyone walk around in these pants.

a wrinkled mermaid

i love mermaids and I'm automatically drawn to anything that reminds me of it. but when i saw this, yes i thought mermaid, but then i thought of a pruney mermaid because of its wrinkly material. this is a two piece dress with a over coat. i did in fact try it on, but i couldn't take myself to take a picture of the results. however, i do think this would make an awesome mermaid costume for Halloween! but definitely not for anything else.

well in this case it's not nice either way. it's unflattering (as you can see in the picture) and it's shapeless. the entire dress is stretchable and it basically clings onto all your jellyrolls (again, as you can see in my picture) and honestly i personally believe this is a hard colour to pull off, not many people can rock this colour and make it looks good. i find that it either washes out your skin colour or it makes you look really dark.

I'm not going to lie, i love the colour and the fit. but i CAN'T stand the this rouching on the jacket. not only that, this has a metallic sheen to it as well, and also comes in teal. this was found in one of those independent stores in a mall, one of those "mom stores" if you or your mom owns one, i hope you're rocking it!

simple dress that speaks for itself

i think this dress speaks for itself, i wanted to try one on so you'd get a better idea of how it looks, but they didn't have my size. but basically it ends at the knee, so no stretch what so ever and isn't much of a fitted dress either. so you look sort of straight and shapeless in it. i also took a closeup of the the fabric so you can see and have a better idea of the material. if you can rock this dress and look good, props to you!

men in polka dots!

So this was something new, black dress shirt with small white polka dots on them. typically you'll see this pattern in many women's blouse or even dresses, but this was in the men's section. I'm sure there are some male out there who can rock this no problem, but i don't think majority of the male population can handle this. did i mention there were a lot on the rack? seems like not many guys are buying it either.

department stores may be cheap, but that doesn't mean you have to be questioned!

So the other day i was walking through the department store to get into the mall (their entrance was closer so we figured we walk through the store to get to the mall) my friend and i saw this on the mannequin so naturally i paused and stared at it, and my friend asked if i wanted to take the picture of it to add it to this blog. At first i was debating on how questionable it really is, but as soon as i had someone else's opinion i knew mines was pretty accurate. yeah sure, the fit is nice, but why can't they make comfort pretty? why is it always one or the other? this was in the women department, for the slightly older women but i still don't think anyone should be wearing this.

evening dresses

i saw this in the window of a bridal store and i couldn't believe they were showcasing these. i don't know who in the wedding you'd dress in these, they're not nice enough to be you're evening dress for your wedding, they're not something you'd put your brides maid in, and I'm sure no ones going to make their mother wear this. I don't know what to say, I'm still in shock this was showcased in the bridal store's window. if you can think of who to put into these dresses at your wedding, please let me know because i really can't think of anyone. maybe your enemy? but then again why would they be invited?

creativity gone wrong

well i came across these LOVELY wedged sandals while strolling down the street in Ottawa, thank god! They were sold in a really cute little boutique, it's too bad they weren't so cute themselves. I know the overall appearance isn't too bad, the straps and everything seems pretty decent and sturdy but please zoom in and focus on the wedge. OK, now please explain to my why anyone would think this can work? I'm sure it was the greatest idea at the time, but really? i think they were so desperate for a gimmick that this was the best they can do. definitely creativity gone wrong.

Tie-Dye is back, and ready for revenge!

so today's post is going to be about my discovery that someone's revived the tie-dye trend. Personally believe should remain in the past. yeah, sure some of the tie-dye stuff are pretty decent, but some things look all wrong. it's like your mother was washing your clothes and accidentally poured bleach right on top all over it and it came out blotchy and weird, do you get what i'm saying? anyways i believe pictures are worth a thousand words. so enjoy? at least try to?

I was shopping the other day and came across this jacket, and honestly all i can think about was those brown packaging tapes they have at the post office. I understand that rubber boot and plastic raincoats are in, but this isn't what I'll consider fashionable, It's questionable! It wasn't cheap either, well at least to me it wasn't, this jacket was retailing for $350. If you own this jacket, I hope you're rocking it and proving me very wrong. Because otherwise you'll just look like a big package that fell off the mail mans' truck.

Well I've finally did it. I'm going to start blogging about questionable fashion in today's society. I have however noticed there are numerous similar blogs out there, and i hope nobody takes offence and think i stole their idea. I wont be blogging about celebrity, nor will i be blogging regularly. Trust me, this is a good thing. why? simply because the more often i blog, means more questionable fashion i see.

I understand that sometimes we may not agree in some of the things i post up, but this is all from my opinion and I'm not hating on any designer/store/brand/individual. I just want to be able to share my thoughts with all of you and have a simple laugh out of it.

With that said, I hope you all have a fantastic and fashionable day!
